We at DPC News like to keep our finger on the pulse of what is going on in the business world. Companies need workers and healthcare benefits are a big perk for this. Check out (and save) this article in the HR Exchange Network:

  • Employee benefits are a major bargaining chip for companies looking to attract talent.
  • One of two things are happening with workplace healthcare. Either employees are leaving their current position for a job with better healthcare coverage or their annual salary increases are being eaten up by higher healthcare premiums being passed on to employees.
  • A recent survey found that 42% of employees are thinking about leaving their current position because of inadequate benefits.
  • It’s clear that healthcare is important to job candidates. To attract new talent, companies should revolutionize the way they treat wellness in the workplace.

And guess what one of the big things they recommend?

Direct Primary Care is another technique being used by companies to control costs. DPC allows employees to pay fixed monthly, quarterly, or annual fees to cover primary care, consultations, care coordination, and comprehensive care management. Not only does DPC result in cost-savings, but it fosters a better relationship between patient and doctor.

  1. I’m curious what your thoughts are on medicine, physicians and hospitals as we come into 2022. I don’t look at our future is being very bright as far as people seeking medical care who don’t fall in line with the dogma that’s being peddled today. Clearly the profession has been sold to government mandates. I know many nurses who have lost their jobs. I know many people who have lost their jobs due to these ridiculous mandates. Some people are being refused healthcare in other countries. Do you see this overflow of insanity coming into the USA?
