Creighton Shute, DO is Elite DPC owner and founding physician. Dr. Shute was born in Opelousas, LA. After graduating from high school, he served on active duty in the United States Navy. Following his Naval services, he returned and graduated from University of Louisiana – Lafayette. He then went on to medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Georgia Campus. He completed Family Medicine Residency training at Fort Benning, Georgia, while on active duty in the United States Army. And, then served on active duty as a physician until moving back to Lafayette, LA in 2014. Dr. Shute has experience in military medicine, emergency medicine and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Now, Dr. Shute owns and operates Elite DPC, Acadian’s first DPC Practice. Dr. Shute believes the core message of DPC is simple.

One word, FREEDOM! I’m a Doctor, but I’m also a Husband, a Daddy, and sometimes I’m a Patient too. DPC is Freedom for everyone in all aspects of the primary healthcare experience.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Shute enjoys spending time with is wife Jennifer and their six children.
