We just wanted to recognize Dr. Kissi Blackwell for getting the information out about the DPC Alliance. Her local paper did a nice piece and you can read it here. Here is a quick snippet:

The Direct Primary Care Alliance (DPCA) announced recently the election of Dr. Kissi Blackwell as their vice president of the board of directors.

The DPCA’s board is comprised of individuals who have opened an independent direct primary care (DPC) practice in their respective communities. The practices operate on a membership-based model in which people pay their primary care physician directly on an ongoing basis, usually monthly, for all or most of their primary care needs. Services can include clinical and lab services, consultations, care coordination and case management.

The Direct Primary Care (DPC) Alliance is a grassroots, non-profit, nationwide organization providing vision, leadership, and guidance about Direct Primary Care through physician-led education, mentorship, advocacy, and organizational intelligence. www.dpcalliance.org

Congratulations Kissi!! And thanks again. Promoting the DPCA is promoting DPC.
