I just love this advertisement. LOVE IT. It gets me every time. It draws you in. It makes you think about why dentistry is so important. There may be some written actionable items underneath it that were cropped but you get the point.
How can you reproduce this for Direct Primary Care? It doesn’t have to be the misdirection this ad has. It doesn’t have to be funny. And you don’t need it done professionally. You can just use it on social media so the cost is not an issue. Heck, we can crowdthink this and make one ad for all to use.
Let’s think of ideas.
The tagline could be:
Why is Getting In To See Your Family Doc So Important?
Dr. Farrago is a retired family physician based in Forest, Virginia. Since 2021, he has run DPCnews.com, a leading resource for the Direct Primary Care (DPC) movement.
He is the author of three best-selling books on Direct Primary Care:
The Official Guide to Starting Your Own Direct Primary Care Practice
The Direct Primary Care Doctor’s Daily Motivational Journal
Slowing the Churn in Direct Primary Care (While Also Keeping Your Sanity)
In 2016, Dr. Farrago conceived the idea for the Direct Primary Care Alliance and co-founded the organization alongside other pioneering DPC physicians. He is widely recognized as a leading expert in the DPC model and frequently lectures to medical students, residents, and practicing physicians on how to successfully start and run their own DPC practices.Dr. Farrago sold his Direct Primary Care practice in October 2020 but continues to receive care there as a patient.

System medicine
Cost of a 10 minute phone call – $256
Cost of a urine culture – $825
Time with your doctor in DPC – Priceless!
Cost of phone call – included in monthly membership
Cost of urine culture – $30
Is dentistry important? Maybe, but probably not as important as the fact this guy has lost an eyebrow. The good news is that an appointment, today, with his DPC doctor is only a quick phone call or text away. “Direct Primary Care. When you inexplicably lose an eyebrow.”

What keeps you up at night, but then you forget to mention during your rushed appointment?
Would you be a more confident parent if you had more time with your kid’s doctor?
Would you be a happier parent if you knew you could talk to your doctor after hours?
This is cynical
The importance of Preventive care:
A skeleton went to the doctor.
The doctor looked at the skeleton and said, “Aren’t you a little late?”
