Radiant Health DPC Opens in Ohio

Dayton Daily News featured Radiant Health Direct Primary Care in a recent article. Thao Tran, MD immigrated to the U.S. at the age of 2 and began her lifelong journey in healthcare at just 15 when her mother was diagnosed with cancer. After school, she would visit the library, translating medical books so her mother could stay informed about her treatment. This early experience sparked her passion for medicine and helping others.
A valedictorian of Northridge High School, Dr. Tran received a full-ride scholarship to Wright State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Tran is the first generation in her family to go to college. She then earned the prestigious Boonshoft Scholars Scholarship, a full-tuition award, to attend the Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Tran then completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina before returning to her hometown of Vandalia, Ohio.
My goal had always been to return home to provide to the local community that supported me. I am passionate about opening a direct primary care office to restore the doctor-patient relationship and serve my community.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, caring for animals, painting, playing piano, and exploring photography. Her mission is to bring a lifelong commitment to service, hard work, integrity, and excellence to her patients.
Dr. Tran’s care philosophy is “stay humble, care deeply, live joyfully, and share your heart. I want to use my life to serve.”
Congratulations to Dr. Tran. Welcome to the DPC Family. Keep us posted on your progress.
