This brings back memories of being a hospice medical director and having to keep up with the amount of time I spent coordinating care for EACH patient on our service so the hospice could bill for my time. Do you know how hard it is to keep up with individual patients’ time records for a month at a time? Virtually impossible. Which is why CMS set it up that way. I doubt they pay out much for this level of service to patients. So glad to be done with that! (not hospice, just the tomfoolery).
