Remember Forward’s CarePod? Now There Is The OnMed CareStation!

Yup, the corporate world is not giving up on this crap. The pods are sexy and DPC is not. So, Forward (a now defunct DPC corporation) did a Hail Mary with their CarePod and it wasn’t enough to save them. Now, companies are ditching the DPC part and just going with the Pod. Here is a video of what will be inside the OnMed version:

Wow, impressive, right? LOL.

The key to their system is using a “provider” and never a doctor. And I love when the person explains how this is great “when you can’t get into your primary care provider that day which we all know is challenging”. You know what, DPC solves that!

And explain how this person can be auscultated from the back? They can only listen to the front!

I have this idea. Since I think all these things are a scam, here is another one that WOULD work. Since men don’t like going to the doctor’s office, maybe we create a DadBodPod. The wives would be happy they went somewhere and he is excited to go to the DadBodPod because inside would be:

  • Beer
  • Widescreen TV with football, golf, WW2 movies, or monster truck rallies
  • Tool catalogs
  • Country or rock music option
  • Magazines (Guns and Ammo, Popular Mechanics, and Field and Stream). 
  • Nap station
  • Automated screening process for entry includes scanning for flannel shirt, absence of man bun or tight jeans, and you have to tell it a joke to get in (the AI-enabled lock will keep you out if it’s not a Dad joke). 

“Yes, honey, I love going to the doctor. They say I have to go weekly!”

“Health is my priority. Can’t pick up the kids. I need to go to the DadBodPod.”
