ChatGPT outperformed doctors in answering patients’ questions, according to medical professionals. The evaluators preferred the chatbot response to the physician responses 78.6% (95% CI, 75.0%-81.8%) of the 585 evaluations.
Not sure who the evaluators are because it isn’t important*. What is important is that if you are employed as a physician then your boss will soon be trying to get AI to replace you. They are already doing it with nondoctors.
If you ever thought about doing Direct Care then now is the time before it is too late.
(*Why isn’t it important? Because these studies are created to make you look bad and dispensable. They will be used against doctors. They won’t use DPC docs here because we have time to answer questions and actually care about our answers.)
