I want to review this Forbes article on marketing for you. I think it has some very relevant information to Direct Primary Care so please read the whole thing here.
The author mentions that all strategies work and that there’s no shortage of marketing strategies. The latter is true but I am not sure all strategies work. But I think you DO NEED a strategy. As the article says, “You can network, ask for referrals, work with centers of influence, make videos, write newspaper articles, have a blog…” but you do need to do something.
It then goes on to describe an anecdote that explains what some vegetable merchant does that makes clients come back week after week and why they talk about it with other future clients. This the priceless banana strategy which is designed to surprise and delight. The result?
This increases client loyalty. It increases the number of referrals and/or testimonials.
Go ahead and read the article and the anecdote and see what ideas you can come up with. I will tweak the article’s last sentence to make it DPC-centric.
How could you surprise and delight your patients this week?
(If you have any ideas please offer them here or on FB so others may learn).
