I Was Never Meant to Be Employed

I am sharing this T-shirt image that I actually sold on our website during my employment at a hospital. I was editing/writing the Placebo Journal then and we made these for a laugh. I am not sure how I didn’t get fired. Oh, they tried. You can watch my lecture in 2017 where I discuss one instance. There were others like the time Cigna came after me for doing a parody about them. We actually redid this parody recently because I hate them.

One time, by mistake, I was allowed to look at my HR file and the administrators even mentioned that they had enough on me to fire me. It didn’t happen and I lasted ten years there and then five at another hospital. I was a good doctor and produced but the job got worse and worse. As much as I hated what was going on I think it was NOTHING like the crap doctors have to deal with today. This is why I push DPC. All this being said, I was never meant to be employed by a hospital and I think NO doctor should be. It is a conflict of interest and a prison sentence all wrapped up in one.
