Okay, it’s not really DPC related but there’s an interesting story about this. As you can see this is from 2002 when Oxycontin was in its heyday. We knew something was up and so we made this fake ad for the Placebo Journal. In fact, we even made posters of it and then went to the PriMed conference as a vendor and sold them. It was a hit but what was really amazing was the Purdue Pharma team, who were also vendors, accosting us and demanding we take the posters down. They even tried to physically rip it down but we held strong. Looking back at the image above I am proud to say that we were right about it.
