Being employed by a hospital will only satisfy you for a short time. Once the honeymoon period ends things start to change. They forget your name. They alter the contract. Their expectations get more difficult. They care about your opinion less and less. I have been there and things are only getting worse. Hospitals don’t care about physician retention anymore. They are trying to replace you. This is NOT a match made in heaven. As the picture shows it is not a good fit. Something is wrong and you can do something about it.
