What is an AI agent?


AI agents are autonomous software systems powered by generative AI and large language models (LLMs) that perceive their environment, reason, plan, and take action to achieve specific goals with minimal human intervention. Unlike traditional AI, agents can use tools, remember context across tasks, and collaborate to manage complex workflows. They are transforming productivity by automating tasks like IT management, customer service, and data analysis

We talk about AI as if it is so wonderful, but is it? Moltbook shows what happens when we let these AI agents interact with each other on their own. And it scares the crap out of me.

The evolution of this thing is rapidly expanding.

Why worry?

Well, these AI agents have so much opportunity to cause so much havoc. They could shut down power, destroy banks, disrupt financial markets, and so, so much more.

This relates to everyone. And someone needs to shut it down.
