The Direct Primary Care Alliance is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Ramirez, CAE, as its new Executive Director, effective February 1, 2026.

Mrs. Ramirez was the interim executive director from March 2025 to July 2025. During this time, she helped the Alliance by conducting an audit of its policies, procedures, and operations as part of a broader effort to improve organizational effectiveness. As the Alliance’s new executive, Mrs. Ramirez aims to further improve its operational efficiency and help its leadership develop a more robust member experience and grow its vendor connections.
Julie has 11 years of experience as an association executive working with physicians in Florida. Julie earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in February 2021. She is a board member of the American Association of Medical Society Executives, Horizon Council in Fort Myers, FL, and is past chair of the Conference of Florida Medical Society Executives. She is also a member of the Florida Society of Association Executives and the American Society of Association Executives.
Julie has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus in Marketing and Management from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan. She lives in sunny southwest Florida with her husband, teenage daughter, son, and four dogs. In her spare time, she volunteers with her kids’ flag football team and her local church.
