Suffering from DPC Curiosity? We Have the Antidote.

As the wave of physicians transitioning to the DPC model increases in America, many more seeking definitive answers to feel confident this opportunity is right for them are silently staying with the evil they know. Fortunately, DPC Alliance has developed the Masterminds program to change this curious, but reluctant behavior into fact-based knowledge that busts myths, provides clarity and gives DPC-curious physicians the answers they need to take the leap.

“The best way to convince people that something works is to show people how it works,” said Dr. Jeffrey Davenport, DPC Alliance President and a practicing DPC physician in Edmond, Oklahoma.

The DPC Masterminds program is a series of two-day, hands-on programs hosted by DPC physicians across the United States. Each Masterminds event includes:

  • Tours of working DPC practices, 
  • Small group discussions led by DPC doctor hosts,
  • Presentations on topics such as banking and finance, marketing, building a client roster, developing new business connections, and negotiating with vendors, 
  • Peer friendships to help attendees during their DPC journey.

Physicians at any career point are encouraged to attend a Masterminds as these programs bring clarity to the DPC model – what it is and what it isn’t – and how it can be a practical, cash-flow positive alternative to traditional insurer-restrictive healthcare delivery. These programs are open to DO and MD physicians as well as physician residents and students.

“One of the most common benefits DPC doctors tell me they’ve realized since transitioning is a renewed joy in their profession because they feel like they can finally deliver care to their patients without the burdens of reduced reimbursement, denials and complicated claims process,” added Dr. Davenport. “The Masterminds were built to show other physicians that the DPC model is a solution.”
