Seeking Nominations for the DPC Physician of the Year Award
Do you know a physician who goes above and beyond in providing outstanding primary care within a DPC practice? Have they made a lasting impact on their patients, mentored fellow physicians or students, and contributed to the growth of the DPC movement? If so, nominate them for the 2025 DPC Physician of the Year Award!
Nomination Criteria
Eligible nominees MUST provide comprehensive primary care in a DPC practice. Nominees will be evaluated on the following criteria: Mentoring medical students, residents, and/or other physicians
Engaging in community outreach and/or service
Maintaining a financially successful DPC practice
Contributing to activities that support and expand the DPC movement
Nomination Exclusions Current Board Members of any DPC Summit co-host organization (AAFP, ACOFP, DPCA) are ineligible
Nominations made by non-physicians will not be accepted
Nominees must be practicing in a DPC setting
Self-nominations are not permitted

The honoree will be recognized at the DPC Summit, July 24-27, 2025, in New Orleans, LA.

It would be Comedic gold “How dare you question the DPC OTY”
Nothing about providing hospital care in this credo but that is impossible to do in this day and age of DPC and go home thing. I.M. and F.P.s coming out just figure out how to make money in the office and relinquish care to hospitalists that don’t know chit about a patients’ outside care when they get admitted. Well the residents aren’t getting trained in hospital care so nothing wrong with that. So they say.
