Hint Introduces a Unified Platform for Direct Primary Care Practices

For more than a decade, Hint has supported the growth of direct primary care through technology, education, and community. Alongside its platform for memberships, billing, and payments, the company has expanded its clinical platform with a purpose-built EMR while investing in the direct care movement through initiatives like Hint Community, Hint Connect and Hint Summit. Now, Hint brings those capabilities together with a unified platform that combines the business and clinical sides of running a DPC practice into a single experience.

This announcement builds on the recent launch of Hint Marketplace, which gives practices access to a growing ecosystem of integrations, embedded applications, and service partners from within the Hint platform.

New Capabilities

As part of this launch, Hint is introducing several new additions to the platform:

  • Hint Chat: Secure messaging for care teams and patients, built directly into Hint so conversations stay connected to the patient record.
  • Native iOS App for Clinicians: Access schedules, review patient information, document visits with AI Scribe, and stay connected while away from the office. (A patient app is also on the roadmap.)

Practices can also choose which parts of the platform they use. Those with an existing EMR can continue using Hint for memberships, billing, employer administration, and practice operations while disabling the clinical modules.

Three Plans Designed for Every Stage of Growth

Hint’s offerings are now organized into three plans that align with where practices are in their journey.

  • Launch provides new practices with the software, education, and community resources needed to get started.
  • Pro supports growing practices with the tools to streamline operations and expand into employer-sponsored care.
  • Scale is designed for larger organizations managing multiple locations or provider groups.

No Changes for Existing Customers

Current customers are not being asked to migrate platforms or renegotiate pricing. Existing products and agreements remain in place. The new plans simply provide a clearer way to understand how Hint’s capabilities fit together as a single platform.

This release establishes the foundation for the next phase of the Hint platform, including continued expansion of Marketplace, deeper AI capabilities, and ongoing investment in the technology that helps direct care practices grow and deliver exceptional care.
