JOURNALING IS HELPING ME CONNECT WITHIN

I am two weeks into my new journal and I am having a great time! Going back to review what I wrote has been profound because there are parts of it I do not even remember writing! I now understand automatic writing and why Doug Farrago recommends we go to town with the pen and paper! I am enjoying adding gratitude lists to the end of the entries. I am also finding myself celebrating small wins. For example, decluttering some parts of my office makes me feel like a champion! And once I figure out where to properly dispose of those old paint buckets the previous owner kept in the cabinet, I am going to be feeling quite proud of myself!
The beautiful thing is that I am already proud because I took the leap of faith to leave a “secure” job that was no longer in alignment with my body, mind and soul. I looked at those who paved the path before me and felt inspired by their strength and tenacity. Taking small steps and celebrating my journey is how I have been navigating these new waters. Putting my thoughts on paper and taking the time to allow for spaciousness has brought me closer to myself. This connection with self is spilling over to my relationships. My patients have a doctor that listens with the entire body, and I am able to stay in a place of curiosity and interest! And my connection to nature, Creator, my friends, family and husband has been phenomenal.
And today’s entry includes gratitude to Doug Farrago for writing this fantastic journal that is bringing me closer to yet another dream of writing! Blessings to you and sending love and light to our DPC and non-DPC community! You are all part of my universe now!
