DPC & Employers: Should You Be a Plan Administrator?

Saw this question posted on DPC FB group about a small employer asking a DPC doc to be the plan administrator for their health plan–oversee pricing, billing, and payments for services outside of their DPC office like imaging or specialist visits. Not on is this very difficult to do and time-consuming, but it’s dangerous from a business standpoint: you are NOT an Insurance plan. Be DPC, not an administrator. Let’s chat about that.
