I am almost finished doing the narration for my book on DPC churn. This is a huge issue for Direct Primary Care. I spent a year researching the topic and what other industries do about it.
One section concerns whether your patients are using your services enough. It’s counterintuitive but the bottom line is that you want your patients to feel they are getting their money’s worth. This does not mean they must come into the office monthly or text you regularly. There are ways, however, to make your patients feel like they are still part of your practice without being seen. One way is a regular newsletter with your advice, updates on the practice, etc. I explain other ways in the book (and on Audible) but remember that you never want to give patients a reason to leave. Keeping your patients is more important than finding new ones.
