DeWitt County Today announced the opening of Zengerle Medical Clinic in Cuero, Texas. Dr. Claire Zengerle graduated from the University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Osteopathic Medicine and worked at Cuero Regional Hospital and VA Outpatient Clinic in Victoria, Lavaca Medical Center in Hallettsville, Texas and was a former co-owner of Cuero Medical Associates. Zengerle then began looking for something more. That’s when she discovered Direct Primary Care.
I noticed across America, that there was a need for primary care doctors – Cuero and its surrounding areas (including Victoria, Goliad, Yorktown, and Yoakum) were no exception. I am not interested in wasting time with the bureaucracy often associated with insurance. I want that time to go to the patient. Cutting out the middleman means lower fees for patients as well.
Dr. Zengerle will be operating the Zengerle Medical Clinic with the support of her husband, Daniel, who will serve as the office manager of the clinic. In addition to in person care, she will also be providing telemedicine services which is very helpful since Cuero is located in a rural area of Texas.
In her spare time, Zengerle enjoys biking, camping, horses, jogging, collecting books, and hunting along with her husband.
