W Geriatrics DPC in Pasadena, CA Opens

DPC is not just for Family Medicine. W Geriatrics DPC in Pasadena, CA, which opened July 1, is providing medical care to the elderly population. Theresa Wong, MD, a trilingual, board-certified, UCSF-trained geriatrician, created W Geriatrics Direct Primary Care for adults age 60+. Dr. Wong not only provides personalized, accessible care, but she also expertly helps patients navigate the healthcare system, with the ultimate goal of maintaining the patients’ health, independence, and peace of mind.

Geriatric medicine is the essence of everything I love about being a doctor: fascinating life stories, medical complexity, and opportunity to effect meaningful change with good medical decisions. Through W Geriatrics, I can be the doctor that my patients deserve. I went into DPC in order to serve my community (I grew up in the Pasadena area), and to provide effective, efficient patient-centered care for older adults that’s just not possible anymore in corporate medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Wong enjoys cooking new seasonal recipes, looking for the perfect sunscreen, and playing tennis in the shade.
