Tallgrass Osteopathic Family Medicine: Healing in Madison, WI

Dr. Angela Marchant became a physician to be a healer. Becoming an osteopath healed her. She is honored to witness the wisdom of the body with her patients. By opening Tallgrass Osteopathic Family Medicine, she is able to provide direct primary care in addition to osteopathic medicine and breastfeeding medicine to patients in the Madison, WI area.
As a young attending seeing 20 patients a day, I started asking myself a question that I dreaded might happen someday: Why did I do this? Opening my DPC and osteopathy practice has now only provided me an opportunity to heal my patients, it has allowed me to heal myself as well.
Joining her in the the practice is Sarah Hinkley. She helps make sure the day to day administrative operations of the practice are running optimally. She also enjoys the opportunity to genuinely support and connect with patients in the day-to-day as well as through life coaching sessions. Sarah is proud to work at a place that deeply values the inherent dignity of human beings and holistic healing. She is excited to be a part of shifting the way we care for ourselves and our community.
Dr. Marchant brings a wealth of varied expertise to her practice. Since completion of training, she has practiced family medicine including obstetrics at a federally qualified health center in Madison, Wisconsin. Her areas of interests in medicine include integrative medicine, breastfeeding medicine, LGBTQ medicine including gender affirming care, addiction medicine and traditional osteopathy, particularly osteopathy for newborns. She is grateful to expand her practice providing osteopathic treatment to a wider range of patients in the four lakes region.
In her free time Angela enjoys spending time with her wife, two young children and dog. She loves exploring (and photographing) remnant prairies, fishing, biking, yoga, gardening and spending time outside with family and friends.
