Strunk Direct Care Opens in Huntingdon, PA

The Huntingdon Daily News announced the opening of Strunk Direct Care. At Strunk Direct Care, Greg Strunk, DO and Ashley Cadle, LPN are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of their community. Their services are designed to meet the diverse needs of patients, offering everything from preventive care and routine check-ups to comprehensive treatment plans for chronic conditions all provided through a DPC model of medicine.
Dr. Strunk has been a longtime physician in Huntingdon County, but he decided to make a change to DPC after being introduced to this model by fellow physician Dr. Sean Hampton who owns and operates Hampton Direct Primary Care in Altoona.
If a patient has a long-term relationship with a primary care doctor, they do better. If you don’t have one, it’s like having a team without a quarterback. Now, with DPC, I will have less patients during the day, but I will be able to give them more personalized care. Now, every patient will get 30-60 minutes. That’s the idea behind direct patient care, and it ultimately means better healthcare.
Both Stunk and Cadle have been dedicated to community health and wellness in the area for many years, and they are now excited to be offering DPC to patients.
