Sigma Health DPC Opens in Ashburn, VA

Sigma Health Direct Primary Care recently opened its doors and will have a ribbon cutting in April. Arun Mallapareddi, MD, MPH (Dr. M.)  is a board-certified family physician with extensive experience. He has dedicated his career providing comprehensive care in various settings, from community health clinics to the University settings. Dr. M. completed his Family Medicine Residency at Hennepin Healthcare, Minneapolis, MN. He then completed a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH. And if that wasn’t enough, he then went on to obtain his Master in Public Health at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI.

Dr. M is passionate about delivering patient-centered care. He prioritizes building strong relationships with his patients and values open communication. He will also be offering individualized nutritional counseling and sleep apnea testing and treatments as add-ons to the basic DPC membership.

I started the clinic so that I can practice medicine the right way- thinking about care for patients -not cpt codes; providing personalized care rather than checking off the boxes; most important of all is ability to spend the necessary time with the patients.
