Sentinel Health Brings DPC to Missoula, MT

The grand opening of Sentinel Health in Missoula, Montana was recently announced. Sentinel Health is aiming to address the lack of direct primary care options in this growing area. Co-founders Dr. Geoffrey Holman and Dr. Amanda Hartman will be providing DPC, Functional Medicine and Aesthetics at Sentinel Health.

We wanted to come in and really give an opportunity for essentially this whole town… Upper Miller Creek and Lower Miller Creek and this whole area is a town in of itself and to give a resource where folks can have local accessible medical care.

Dr. Holman grew up with a thirst for adventure, which led him to ski patrolling, professional photography, and volunteer firefighting before finding his true calling in rural family medicine. He received his bachelors degree from Dartmouth College before attending medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans. In 2018 he moved to Missoula and completed three years of specialty training in Family Medicine, during which he fell in love with Montana, got married, and started a family!

Dr. Hartman has been interested in DPC for several years now and is excited about the quality of care it allows her to provide. She grew up in Reno, NV where she attended medical school, then moved to Missoula for residency. She has always held an interest in innovative medical care because of the family physician she saw growing up. He brought together western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture and more. Because of him, she is trying to bring a more holistic care to her patients as well. She is trained in family medicine and functional medicine and think both are important in her patients’ health. On weekends, she likes to hike, camp, and cook.

Congratulations to Dr. Holman and Dr. Hartman. We look to hearing updates about your progress.
