In June 2023, Angela Andrews, MD, decided it was time for a change and so she began Seeds of Health Direct Primary Care.

I decided to start a DPC practice once the pain of staying in the system exceeded my fear of taking a leap of faith. When my patients as me why DPC, I tell them that it is a matter of integrity. In realized that order to “function” as a doctor in the system I would have to compromise on my integrity. This was painfully apparent when during my last provider meeting everyone was complaining about patients bringing up acute or addressing chronic problems during an HME visit. I said to them…seriously?! That’s what we are supposed to do?! Wellness means dealing with prevention and what ailss them now and what may ail them in the future. Since when did we become so rigid in how we take care of people?

Seeds of Health was born out of Dr. Andrew’s desire to provide a lifestyle medicine-based approach that is accessible and personalized to each patient. She believed she could practice medicine in an environment where caring and taking time with patients is an expectation, not just a nice to have.

At Seeds of Health, the mission is to provide compassionate, holistic, and comprehensive care that addresses the root causes of health issues, not just the symptoms. With trust, integrity, and a commitment to healing, Dr. Andrews strives to bridge the gap between health and care, sowing health one seed at a time.

Since opening Seeds of Health DPC on Feb 1, 2024., the practice has flourished. The practice has stopped accepting new patients for now and there is currently a waitlist. Dr. Andrews is currently taking the time to get to know each of her current patients and providing the best personalized care possible. That’s what DPC is all about.
