Resurgent Health: North Dakota’s First DPC Clinic

Kristine Martens, DO, a co-founder of Resurgent Health, is on a mission to redefine healthcare – where quality care, convenience, and a personal touch come together to create a truly exceptional healthcare experience. Also joining her on this journey to bring DPC to North Dakota is cofounder Alyson Dahl, PA-C, practice manager Kayla Anderson, RN, BSN, and nurse Meghan Johnson, RN. This team of talented ladies is excited to practice in this new model of medicine that benefits both the patients and the clinicians. Dr. Marten sums it up.

Unfortunately, a doctor’s reality is that we technically work for the insurance companies, not the patient, and for too many years, the time I had with my family suffered in order to care for all of my patients the way everyone deserves to be cared for. DPC allows me to prioritize my family without compromising the care I give to my patients. Honestly, I think I have always been a DPC doctor and didn’t know it, and I am so excited to be able to offer this new model of primary care to our community.

It is exciting to add another state to the list of those offering DPC to patients. Congratulations and keep us posted on your progress.
