D Magazine announced the opening of Purposeful Healing DPC. Nearly a decade ago, Texas native Yaser Elqutub played pro ball for the Canadian Football League’s British Columbia Lions. Now the former linebacker-turned-doctor of osteopathy—Elqutub attended the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine—is launching his own practice in Dallas. Joining the team at Purposeful Healing DPC are physical therapist Mark Anthony Rodriguez and registered nurse Jalessa Palmer. Elqutub explains that Purposeful Healing DPC brings a unique integrative medical approach to patients in the Dallas area.

To my knowledge, nothing has been done like this before in that a doctor of osteopathy and a physical therapist partner together to treat ailments. Our services are broad and encompass our holistic approach to medicine. This approach to medicine is holistic, with the intent to get to the root cause of the issue, rather than just treating symptoms. We specialize in helping patients who suffer from pain, manage new and chronic health conditions, and offer a variety of treatment options (both alternative and traditional).

Best wishes to the team at Purposeful Health DPC. DPC News looks forward to hearing about your progress.
