Dr. Joshua Hottenstein brings over a decade of experience in primary care and family medicine, caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds. He started Eulistic Health to ensure he provides the highest quality of care possible while building a community of patients who share his values of disease prevention and holistic well-being. By entering Direct Primary Care, he can take time to listen and get to know his patients’ unique health needs at every visit. Hottenstein invented the word Eulistics, “a combination of holistic, which refers to care for the whole person and then the Greek prefix Eu, that usually means truer good,” he said. “It’s reminiscent of whole health.” The membership fee directly supports the entire practice.

The membership fee directly supports the entire practice. This puts the patient in charge, not the insurance company and gives the patient direct access to Dr. Hottenstein. It also allows him to have a smaller patient panel to give him more time with them.

Dr. Hottenstein obtained his medical degree from the Drexel School of Medicine and completed his residency in Family Medicine at the Jacksonville Naval Hospital. He is board certified in Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine. Dr. Hottenstein offers unlimited visits with little or no wait time, phone and text messaging after hours, and convenient care when and where his patients need it. He also provides telehealth and home visits to ensure that patient care is accessible, affordable, and exceptional.
