Husband and wife team Pedram Ansari MD and Jihan Ansari MD, MPH are the owners and physicians of Harbor Direct Primary Care.

Dr. Jihan Ansari was born in Orange County, CA and raised in Southern California. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). She has a passion for women’s health and loves that family medicine allows her to treat all ages. She enjoys integrating diet and lifestyle into her practice. When she’s not busy at work, she can be found chasing her energetic son (5) and daughter (3) around, relaxing at the beach or a local park with her family, or spending quality time with her close friends. 

I started Harbor Direct Primary Care as a way to give the community access to high quality accessible primary care that could save them both time and money. This membership-model also frees me from the fee-for-service aspect of medicine so I have more time for my patients and can work for them rather than the health insurance companies. I hope to restore the patient-physician relationship in my local community.

Dr. Pedram Ansari is from beautiful British Columbia, Canada, and found himself in California for residency training where he met his wife, Jihan (above). He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as well. Pedram loves to teach, and served as the Associate Program Director for internal medicine at Saint Agnes Medical Center for 3 years. His passion for medicine revolves around metabolic diseases such as Diabetes, heart diseases, high cholesterol, and hypertension. As part of the full scope of metabolic disease, Pedram is Board Certified in Obesity Medicine (ABOM) and provides medical treatment for weight loss. Pedram loves exploring the outdoors and traveling with his family.

Working together, Jihan and Pedram are focused on restoring the patient-physician relationship.
