The Duncan Banner reported on the Grand Opening of Fruitful Oaks DPC. Dr. Mark Rosekelly, M.Div., D.O with Fruitful Oaks Direct Primary Care and Stephanie Rosekelly, his wife and CNM with Fruitful Oaks Midwifery hosted the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony alongside the Duncan Chamber of Commerce on June 8. The Direct Primary Care Clinic and Fruitful Oaks Midwifery is also home to Bloom Pelvic Health and Wellness with Doctor of Physical Therapy Jordan Cody. Dr. Mark Rosekelly said it’s all about the relationship with their patients and getting to know their patients’ needs.

In some ways back to an old way of doing medicine where you knew your doctor and your doctor went to church with you and went to social events with you and you knew them. Also, moving forward in that, we use a lot of technology.

Stephanie Rosekelly said she’s been a certified nurse midwife for around 13 years. She said when they recently moved to Duncan about four years ago, it wasn’t long before she realized the need for a midwife in the area. Many of her patients traveled up to Oklahoma City and Norman for this type of care and now she’s able to provide the same type of care in Duncan.

Mark grew up in Norwalk, Ohio prior to moving to Chicago, Illinois, to attend college at Moody Bible Institute.  He obtained a Masters of Divinity at North Park Theological Seminary and earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a family medicine residency in Ft. Hood, Texas in 2019. He worked at Reynolds Army Health Clinic in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma until 2023. He opened Fruitful Oaks Direct Primary Care in 2021 to serve the needs of his community in Duncan, Oklahoma. 

Stephanie grew up in Fox Lake, Illinois, prior to going to school at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned both her Bachelors and Masters in Nursing, specializing in midwifery. She recently opened a home birth practice called Fruitful Oaks Midwifery, bringing her experience in homebirth to SW Oklahoma. When she isn’t catching babies or taking care of the family, she serves at Fruitful Oaks Direct Primary Care by offering well-woman exams, drawing labs when needed, and assisting Dr. Rosekelly during procedures. 

Mark and Stephanie married in 2008 and have children.
