Dr. Daniel Esan is a board-certified family medicine and sports medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, personalized care for individuals and families. He went to medical school at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine and moved down to Florida to complete his Family Medicine Residency and Sports Fellowship at the University of South Florida. He then started his DPC practice straight out of his residency/fellowship (yes, it can be done.)
I went into DPC to practice a brand of medicine where I could truly educate and help my patients. I want to make a lasting impact and not be pressured with a time crunch. I want to practice the art of medicine without the restriction of insurance.
Whether treating a routine illness, managing a chronic condition, or rehabilitating from a sports-related injury, Dr. Esan takes a patient-centered approach to care, collaborating with each individual to develop a tailored treatment plan.
In addition to expertise in family medicine, Dr. Esan is experienced in sports medicine, specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, concussion management, performance optimization, and rehabilitation for athletes of all levels.
He has worked with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, USF Bulls, Tampa Bay Rays, and multiple high schools. As an advocate for an active lifestyle, Dr. Esan believes in empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
