Vero News has announced the opening of Coast 2 Coast Healthcare in Vero Beach. Andrea Kaupas, DO is the owner and physician of Coast 2 Coast Healthcare, a direct primary care medical practice. Dr. Kaupas graduated medical school from Kansas City of Medicine and Biosciences in 2007 and completed her internship and residency with Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital in 2010. She joined a family practice group in Traverse City, MI and was a partner in the practice for 10 years. At that position, she practiced full scope family practice treating all ages and was able to do numerous in office procedures.

In search of more sunshine and warmth, Dr Kaupas and her family moved to Florida. Now she is opening this direct primary care practice with the goal of providing excellent medical care to each patient she sees.

My goal is to deliver better quality healthcare for the entire family. It seems that practicing medicine has become so specialized that there is very little time for the doctor and patient to establish a long-term relationship. I pledge to spend more quality time with each patient, addressing all the patient’s concerns with every visit. As a board-certified family practice physician with over 10 years’ experience, I’m very excited to offer primary care to all ages.

When she is not at the office, Dr. Kaupas enjoys spending time swimming, paddling, running, and walking the beach with her family. With active boys and a dog, life is busy in a great way!
