On March 1, Bloom Wellness Direct Primary Care opened in Waterford, Michigan. At Bloom Wellness Direct Primary Care, they embrace a compassionate approach to healthcare, recognizing that each individual is more than just a collection of symptoms. They are committed to not only addressing their patients’ immediate health needs but also to nurturing their overall well-being with heartfelt care and attention. 

Dr. Gaqi earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017. She completed her residency at McLaren Oakland Family Medicine in 2020.  After working as an employed physician for McLaren Medical Group, she decided to open her own Direct Primary Care clinic and a new kind of healthcare to the Metro Detroit Area. 

I went into DPC to be able to provide excellent care for my patients on my terms, the way medicine is supposed to be practiced and most importantly the way our patients deserve. 

Dr. Gaqi’s commitment to her patients goes beyond traditional care. She brings her expertise and compassion to every healthcare decision.  She advocates for mental health support, women’s and men’s health services, and provides guidance on lifestyle modifications aimed at improving overall health and well-being. Her holistic approach to healthcare is designed to address the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of health, reflecting her dedication to the well-being of the Metro Detroit community.
