Even SpongeBob SquarePants knew how unaffordable healthcare was in this country. This video is very outdated but still hits home. It would be great to redo this but instead, focus on how patients are treated in regular primary care offices. Mr. Krabs could be getting sick at home but can’t get an appointment for two weeks. When he finally gets in the office he is inundated with meaningless paperwork and even more meaningless metrics (“Do you wear your seatbelt on the way to your restaurant?”). Lastly, his visit is 3 minutes long, he gets no help, and he is whisked away to only end up in the cartoon above because, well, that sh%t hasn’t changed in 20 years.
