If you are a FFS doctor, then Cigna can change your E/M code and move it one level down when you code a Level 4 or Level 5. Oh, and if they find that you aren’t coding correctly, they can kick you out of their network.
The good news is that you can request a reconsideration. Just call the above number and ask Cigna to consider whether they can go f#ck themselves.
It’s time for doctors to LEAVE these people. Direct Primary Care is the only hope left.
