I have to go on a small rant here. I started this site 15 months ago because of the way Facebook was being used as a resource for Direct Primary Care. It should not be. There is no organization to FB. Information is washed away like a twig over Niagra Falls. To be fair, there are great DPC docs trying to help on the physician exclusive DPC page but searching for stuff is not easy. The result is that the same questions are asked over and over again. It doesn’t have to be this way.
For example, there are these great resources:
- DPC News – yes, that’s us. Look at all the channels we organized in the menu. Look at the books we highlight. See all the practices that are hightlighted and all the marketing tips. And on and on.
- DPC Alliance – they have the DPC University.
- My DPC Story – Maryal does an amazing job here.
- HINT and Atlas.MD also have info for free
Now the rant. Someone asked the following on the DPC Docs Facebook page:
“I’m looking for a guide to starting a DPC practice.”
Really?
Google it. Go on Amazon. Show a little effort. My book literally is titled the official guide to starting your own Direct Primary Care Practice. The first book on the subject ever printed and the most sold.
