There is something so magical about seeing other DPC docs. I’m retired but it is still cool to mingle and laugh and reconnect. The DPC Summit is where it all happens. Debbie and I are here to represent DPC News and help out the DPC Alliance in any way we can (full disclosure: there is no official connection between the two but I help start the DPCA so I always do what I can to promote them).

We already had a great time hanging out with dozens of docs last night. People are rolling in. I want to give a ton of credit to Tiffany Leonard, MD (executive director of the DPCA), Bethany Burke (AAFP), the ACOFP, and Jeff Davenport, MD who were the main people in charge of getting this conference set up. I am 100% sure I missed others so I am sorry.

Today is workshop day. There’s POCUS, OMT, Wound Care, and more. There is word on the street that people may be going to the Minnesota Twins game at 6 PM.

Excitement is in the air but unfortunately so is the smoke from the Canadian fires. Stay safe and say hello when you see us!
