This promises to be a great day of learning from many outstanding speakers as well as these courageous employers who are all at different stages – some are walking and some are flying.  Hear their stories with unfiltered conversations from business leaders that transitioned their businesses away from the traditional Insurer-Bult health plan and built an EMPLOYER-Built plan that works better for their employees and bottom line.

If you attend virtually, then just review the sessions would be most pertinent to you:

Here are just a few highlights of the event:

  • Fight for your Patient Rights! – If you’ve not heard of Patient Rights Advocate or Power To The Patients, then this will be a fantastic conversation as you learn what they’re doing to protect patients and make price and quality more transparent in healthcare.
  • Never Pay the First Bill – As a Journalist, Marshall Allen will discuss his experience with healthcare and guidance from an unbiased perspective and a prescription for educating employees like their lives depend on it.
  • How we did it –  Case studies from 6 employer groups that transitioned away from status quo: initial savings, employee response, the mindset needed pre-transition, and lessons learned.
  • Everyone needs a Blue Cross…right?  Hear from a hospital how they are driving direct to employer contracts/initiatives
  • Direct Primary Care –  Panel discussion of DPC providers from across the country. What it is, how they help employees and your bottom line.
  • Meeting Your ERISA Fiduciary Responsibility to Manage Costs – learn why it is more important than ever to actively manage your health plan
  • A 6 year lookback –  Learn from the Gasparilla Inn & Club in Florida saved $1.6 Million over 3 years using The FairCo$t Health Plan and DeSoto Memorial Hospital in Florida, saved 54% or $1.2 Million in Health Plan as they discuss their 6 year journey, and how the transition from status quo has changed their business and culture for the better.
