Advice on Making a Video for National DPC Day from Dr. Aleea Gupta

The first-ever National Direct Primary Care Day is around the corner on November 1 and it’s a great opportunity for us to spread awareness about DPC to the public and to fellow physicians.

We are launching a social media campaign on Instagram on November 1 and would love for as many DPC physicians as possible to participate.

Here’s what you need to do:

1. Write a post or record a reel (a video) of 60 seconds or less, wearing your National DPC Shirt, answering with these questions:

a) Why America needs DPC  b) How DPC helps patients c)Why I love being a DPC physician

There is also more information you can share here that you can use. Take a read.

2. Use these hashtags at the bottom of your post or the caption for your reel:   #dpcday #dpcday2025

3. Share your post or reel on November 1, preferably in the morning.

4. Tag me @dr.aleeagupta and fellow DPC physicians who are active on Instagram so that we can share and support your post or reel. This will give it more visibility.

5. Feel free to share your post or reel on Facebook as well.

6. We’d love to hear your answers to the questions above, but feel free to share something else related to DPC if you prefer. And show off your DPC Day T-shirt if you have one!

7. If you don’t know how to make a reel, here’s a YouTube tutorial:

Here’s a video from Dr. Phil Boucher that explains how to get organized before filming:

Looking forward to seeing how we can showcase all the great things about DPC!
