It seems I receive an e-mail like this a couple of times a month nowadays.
I’ve been having progressively more fun replying. Although I prefer start a troll-tastic e-mail thread, today I’m on my 14th consecutive hour at work, digging out of a very deep 1-week vacation hole, so I kept it short and sweet.
I won’t lie. Everybody’s got a price. Even overly-idealistic guys like me. If somebody offered me insane life-changing money to sell out, I’d probably do it. But even if I did, I’d just open a new DPC across the street and start over, living off the interest from all that cash and using it to keep my new DPC rates so low I’d put my old clinic right out of business. I was born to do this.

I get these same emails, and I feel the same way. There is not enough money to sell to the wrong people, but since I am ready to retire, I would almost give it away to the right one-a doc with a heart like yours.
