Physician Crab Mentality

Author Sahil Bloom put this out and I tweaked his first image to represent doctors. What does this mean? Well, here are Sahil’s follow-up images to explain:

Do you get it now?
Unfortunately, doctors don’t want to help each other escape the system. Doctors don’t want to work together to fix the system. Some doctors are even saboteurs. And if you do escape to do Direct Primary Care, many of your past colleagues have what I call Death Row Syndrome. That’s where you were all in it together as you sat on death row, but as soon as you got pardoned (left to do DPC), then they hate you.
What’s missing in the first picture above, however, is that of a practicing (or retired) DPC doctor helping you to escape the grip of the physician crabs holding you back.
Don’t believe me?
Go to the DPC Summit this July. See all the smiling faces. Ask for advice, and you will get it. Watch great lectures showing how to leave the bucket.
Can’t go?
Well, DPC News® is free to help as many of you as we can. There are books and forums and newsletters. It’s all out there.
You can leave the bucket! The rest is up to you.

Lest we not forget — misery loves company.
