Do The Thing
I like this video because I have seen people procrastinate for years about their medical career. They are intrigued by Direct Primary Care or Direct Specialty Care but they are afraid. They want guarantees and so they wait in the wings. They lightly read about it, talk about it, fantasize about it, complain about their present job, but they never make the move. I get it but you cannot do the thing until you do the thing.
The present medical system is broken. All hope there is gone. Private equity is now destroying what is left of our hospital systems. They are now salivating about getting into DPC. Do not fall for this. That is not “the thing”.
There are too many resources out there to help you learn about DPC (“the thing”). Read them. There are countless number of colleagues willing to help you do the thing. Ask them. There are conferences and Masterminds instructing you how to do the thing. Go to then. If you are committed to burn the boats and succeed no matter what then you have over a 90% chance of having a thriving career in Direct Primary Career.
Do the thing.
Do it now.
