Nebraska TV News recently highlighted John Jacobsen, MD of Click Family Healthcare in their article about Direct Primary Care. Dr. Jacobsen opened the first office of Click Family Healthcare about 4 years ago in Kearney, Nebraska. He also has another office in Broken Bow, Nebraska. His wife of 39 years, Janet, serves as the patient coordinator. Prior to DPC, John was in private practice in Geneva, Nebraska for over 10 years caring for all ages including pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. He then moved to Omaha to become the Chief Medical Officer of a start-up primary care center, a role that was administrative in nature.  After 3 1/2 years, he open Click Family Healthcare in order bring healthcare back to the basics and centered around the patients.

Managing personal healthcare is more challenging than ever. Complicated insurance networks, corporate health conglomerates, and packed waiting rooms have removed the personal relationship between a patient and their doctor. At Click Family Healthcare, we want to re-center the patient. For a low monthly membership, your doctor is available to you. Because we forego health insurance bureaucracy and charges, we have the time and ability to provide much more personal care at a much lower cost. No per-visit fees. No nickel-and-dime charges. Basic care services are covered under your membership. We even give you our cell phone number. It’s a common sense approach that puts the patient-doctor relationship at the center of everything we do.

Dr. Jacobsen hopes to open more DPC offices in the future.

DPC News looks forward to hearing updates on Click Family Healthcare’s progress.
