My First DPC Column in Medscape Was Just Published and I Need Your Help

I was flattered to be asked by Medscape/WebMD to write a column about Direct Primary Care. I know that DPC is a hot trend right now, and I guess they do as well. The article is called Direct Primary Care: A New Hope for Family Medicine. The title and many of the references were Star Wars related. Unfortunately, they took some out. It was supposed to start:
A long time ago, in a family medicine job far, far away….
I was burned out. Cooked. Done.
It was not to be. I tried to explain that DPC docs are the Rebel Alliance, but they felt that not everyone would get it.
I am not used to being edited a bunch, but I understand that they know their business. However, that is not why I need your help. For over a decade, my personal mission has been to show other family doctors that there is hope outside the system. DPC is that hope. It is the light at the end of the tunnel. This article in Medscape is just the start of a column dedicated to Direct Primary Care. It needs to gain traction quickly, or they may move on to another topic.
So, please, if you can read the article and:
- Share it everywhere
- Like it by giving it a thumbs up
We need to get the word out and show some interested doctors that there is help for them.
Thank you so much!!!
