The Columbian of Vancouver, Washington gives an update of Main Street Family Medicine which opened its doors in 2018. Before beginning his DPC practice, Dr. Steve Baker has served as clinical assistant professor of family medicine with the University of Washington, teaching family medicine residents in Vancouver since 2001. He also worked as a battalion surgeon with the US Marines for Desert Shield/Storm in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

Today, Main Street Family Medicine grown to about 800 patients in just three short years, and Dr. Baker has also expanded the practice by adding another physician, Dr. David Paik. Alongside Dr. Baker, Dr. Paik, has also been an assistant professor of family medicine with the University of Washington for over a decade. Dr. Paik believes that “true healing comes by understanding the whole person and enjoys getting to know his patients and their families.”
