I have found the area of Direct Primary Care to be very diverse. There is a saying that when you see one DPC doctor you have seen one DPC doctor. The commonality is usually the membership model which is affordable for most people. With this in mind, I introduce you to the article Catholic doctors turn to direct primary care to practice medicine, faith. Now you may not agree with the way they have taken the model but patients do have a choice in the practices they want to join.
A small but growing number of Catholic doctors, meanwhile, are turning to DPC for both the higher quality of health care it allows them to offer and the freedom it allows for a more fulsome application of Catholic faith.
It was important for me to point this article out knowing that many of you may NOT agree with their ideology in how they practice medicine. I will leave it at that. Read the whole article to see what I mean. It’s definitely going to turn some heads as it is controversial but that is what’s great about our country and DPC.
